How We Work

How We Work

MenuPlatter exists for one reason: to show you real restaurant menus with real prices, without the guesswork. Here is exactly how we put our pages together.

Where our prices come from

We start with each restaurant’s official website, app, or published menu materials. When official numbers are not public, we cross-check multiple reputable menu sources and use the most commonly listed price. We never invent prices — if we cannot verify a number, we say so on the page.

Monthly reviews

Restaurant prices change constantly. We review every page on a monthly cycle and stamp each one with its last-updated date, shown right under the title. If a page says “Updated November 2026,” that means a human reviewed it that month.

Prices vary by location

A burger in Manhattan rarely costs the same as one in Tulsa. The prices on our pages are the most commonly published figures nationally. Your local restaurant may charge more or less — treat our numbers as a reliable guide, not a guarantee.

How we organize menus

Every menu is broken into the same clear categories you would see in the restaurant — breakfast, burgers, chicken, drinks, desserts, and so on — with prices beside every item. Popular items get a quick-glance table at the top so you can compare without scrolling the whole page.

Corrections

Readers are our best fact-checkers. If you spot a price that has changed, use our contact page to send a correction with the restaurant name, item, and price you saw. We re-check flagged pages first in each monthly cycle.

Independence

MenuPlatter is fully independent. No restaurant pays for placement, and no brand influences what we publish or how we rank items. Our loyalty is to the reader looking for honest numbers.
